Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityAre you an organised, proactive administrator looking to make a difference in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Group Services Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to academic heads, staff, and students across the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.Key Responsibilities:

You will manage a portfolio that includes:Providing executive administrative support, including diary management, document production, and meeting arrangements.Supporting research, teaching, and external engagement activities.Assisting with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and promotions.Coordinating school/department meetings, seminars, workshops, and events.Managing purchasing, receipting, and reconciliations in line with finance policy.Organising business travel and visitor itineraries.Maintaining efficient electronic filing and archiving systems.Contributing to operational and strategic improvement initiatives.Demonstrating excellent customer service and upholding University Service Standards.The role is permanent, 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week).The salary range is $55,300 - $69,600 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. For more detailed information, please refer to the position descriptionHe kōrero mōu | About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:A tertiary qualification or relevant experience (essential); a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Experience in an administrative role within a large, complex environment (essential); previous experience in a tertiary setting is preferred.Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft suite; experience with University enterprise systems is an advantage.Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.A proactive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail.Commitment to equity, diversity, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offerThe University of Auckland is New Zealand's leading University and maintains significant computational, laboratory, and analytic facilities.
