YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATESIdentify, analyze, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety within the organization.  Utilize continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to analyze processes, identify waste, and drive sustainable improvements.  Collaborate with other members of the continuous improvement team and with teams across all levels of the organization to foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSupport Canams commitment to all safety and quality programs.Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction.Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean tools and methodologies.Teach, lead, and coach cross-functional teams.Work to continuously improve processes both on the production floor and within other functional areas of the organization.Help ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current and being followed.Create new Standard Work and SOPs as needed to support the organization.Help teach leaders and team members a zero defect mentality.Serve as a tactical expert and resources for continuous improvement tools and processes.Track and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, reporting on results to management.Perform other duties as assigned.
