Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.Overview:The Global TV Distribution division is responsible for the Domestic and International distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media.  This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies. The Metadata Assistant Manager will concentrate on assisting with procurement, creation, and distribution of descriptive metadata and artwork assets to new media licensees. This includes assisting with Quality Control (QC), aggregating and delivering metadata and artwork in various languages while meeting tight deadlines. This person will maintain a schedule of NBCUniversal-owned programming, gather and proo required information from various internal and external sources to populate an internal database, and then export and deliver the metadata and artwork to multiple clients or vendors in accordance with contractual terms.ResponsibilitiesResearch, aggregate, QC and deliver descriptive metadata and art assets for TV titles licensed from NBCUniversal Global TV DistributionSource information from various official systems and standardize data to input in an internal databaseCoordinate with the Sales Administration, Account Management, Master Data, and Materials Servicing teams and other internal groups to fulfill Licensing dealsCommission synopsis translations in multiple languages from vendors, tracking progress toward deadlinesResearch, request, and organize artwork files in preparation for delivery deadlinesProo and export metadata for delivery via XLS, CSV, XML, or other formats per Licensee specsInvestigate and resolve technical packaging issues, QC tickets and other post-delivery rejections with minimal supervisionHandle client inquiries, responding promptly and/or redirecting to the appropriate contact, to fully address all questions and concerns regarding NBC Universal TV productWork with the Metadata Team to maintain and improve the internal metadata repository, process documents and job manualsThe responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the company.
