The Housekeeper is an essential part of our resort operations team and plays a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our owners and guests. In this role, you’ll ensure that every owner’s room and every public area of the resort sparkles with cleanliness and attention to detail. As a member of our Housekeeping team, you are more than just a cleaner—you are a face of VI Resorts by Westgate, helping bring our owners’ vacation dreams to life with every interaction.As a Housekeeper, you will: Remove debris from guest rooms and common areas, including garbage/recycling, food waste, and soiled linens.Manage bed and bathroom linens, including changing linens, collecting dirty linens, tracking inventory, transporting soiled linens to the laundry facility, and delivering clean linens.Clean all floor surfaces using appropriate tools (vacuum, broom, mop, etc.), including under and around furniture and along edges with crevice tools.Steam clean floors as directed by management.Dust and clean all unit surfaces with appropriate tools, including windows, sills, frames, blinds/curtains, mirrors, artwork glass, furniture (tables, bed frames, couches, nightstands), and doors (interior and exterior).Clean and sanitize all bathrooms, including toilets, tubs, sinks, showers, and floors.Clean kitchens, including surfaces, appliances, and emptying/disposing of refrigerator contents.Place dirty dishes and utensils in the dishwasher and operate as required.Replenish guest supplies according to management standards.Return lost and found items as directed by management.Report maintenance issues, damaged, or missing items to the supervisor promptly.Verify kitchen and room inventory, documenting results on inventory sheets.Follow procedures for safe use of chemical cleaners and housekeeping equipment.Report completed rooms to the Supervisor, Inspector/Prepper, or designated staff.Maintain housekeeping storage rooms and cabinets in a clean and organized manner.Clean common areas, including lobby, hallways, game room, and guest laundry room.Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations.Why You’ll Love It Here:Be part of a supportive team where your hard work is valued.Make a direct impact on guest satisfaction and the overall resort experience.Gain opportunities to grow your skills and advance within the company.Enjoy the rewarding feeling of knowing you’re creating a “home away from home” for every guest.
