To support this mission, Syngenta is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Omaha, NE. This role will meet maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, and resolving problems.Accountabilities:Accomplish maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising employee contributions; recommending compensation actions; and adhering to policies and procedures.Meet maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.Evaluate functionality and reliability of production and facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments and identifying problems and requirements.Maintain function and reliability of production and facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program, operating and testing systems and equipment, and restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.Improve function and reliability of production and facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results and identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal codes and regulations.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.Accomplish maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Promote and apply continuous improvement techniques to ensure effectiveness in the execution of activities, evaluating training needs and new tools or resources that guarantee team performance.Implement organization and cleaning techniques (5S) to maintain a safe environment in the maintenance workshop.
