Experienced Maintenance Technician – 60- Apartments (2 buildings)

We are hiring a reliable, skilled, and experienced Maintenance Technician to care for 60 units at 2 apartment complexes in Omaha, NE. This role is best suited for someone with a strong plumbing background and at least 10 years of hands-on maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency work orders

Prepare vacant apartments for rental (turnovers)

Handle drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, lock changes, cabinet installation, and more

Maintain building and grounds in clean, working condition

Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call 24/7)

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in property maintenance

Strong plumbing skills are a must! Must be able to repair/replace plumbing under sinks, replace toilets, snake drainsetc.

Capable in general repair including: drywall, locks, basic electrical, and cabinetry

Must be a good communicator, responsible, and a self-starter

Organized and capable of producing quality, efficient work

Must have own tools and reliable transportation

Must live near the property (Omaha area)

Able to pass a background check

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

On-call availability required for emergency maintenance

Starting pay: $28/hour
