Log Home Construction

At Paramount Log Homes we are looking for an individual not afraid of physical work, willing to learn, and who gets along with coworkers. Must be able to lift 100lbs, work on ladders, not afraid of heights, and who can do basic math.

At Paramount we do most facets of the carpentrysub-floor, setting logs, framing, roofs, windows, tongue and groove, interior finish, hanging doors, etc. Not looking for someone who knows how to do this, just someone interested in gaining the skills to be able to build a home.

Must be 18 years of age, prefer HS grad but not required (as long as you can think), non-drug user (we work on roofs, use power equipment, etc. we drug test). Reliable transportation is important as many of our projects are in the surrounding communitiesRed Lodge, Columbus, Round Up, etc. We do compensate for travel. Some projects may require a few days away from home at a time, but you will be home for weekends if required to be gone overnight.

We are a small company and try to maintain a positive work environment. Prefer a candidate with a PG vocabulary, as customers are often on site. Work hours are fairly consistent, though there may be a week here and there that it might be a little slow. During the winter and in some circumstances weather may prevent us from working. We're pretty flexible on allowing days off to take care of personal matters.
