Experienced Seamstress for Drapery Workroom

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented seamstress to join our busy drapery workroom. The ideal candidate will have experience sewing and working with a variety of fabrics and styles.

This position has flexible hours

Pay is commensurate with experience.

Starting wage: $25.00/hour

Responsibilities include:

Measuring, cutting, and sewing, hemming, lining, pleating, and finishing according to work orders and design specifications

Operating industrial sewing machines and hand-finishing as needed

Ensuring quality control and precision in all finished products

Assisting with pattern layout and fabric handling

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven sewing experience in custom work

Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and measurements

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to train and learn processes and procedures
