Toyota Parts Counterperson

Olathe Toyota's parts department has an immediate opening for a Parts Advisor. Applicant MUST HAVE some parts sales experience from another dealer or automotive parts store.

This opportunity rarely comes along and could be a career for the right individual. Our department operates in a team environment that has a tremendous amount of good chemistry. Great commission pay based on the team’s monthly gross profit numbers along with benefits.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls from local and internet customers needing quotes or to order parts

Process incoming e-commerce orders

Pull and prepare parts orders

Monitor and return e-mails from customers in timely fashion

Monitor and return voicemails

Assist in-store customers with parts quotes or ordering parts

Occasionally work with service department to provide quotes or bill and pull parts for sold jobs.

Skills

Familiar with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS

Familiar with Revolution e-commerce platform

2+ years experience in parts sales, Toyota knowledge is a huge plus

Strong organization and attention to details

Proactive and dependable work ethic

Strong knowledge of automotive repair, service, and maintenance practices.

Excellent negotiation skills

Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus

Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing and inventory assessments.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members professionally.

Experience in stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a well-organized parts department.
