The HR Generalist is responsible for administering human resources policies and procedures balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. The Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support to a designated internal client group (or groups) with primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of HR operations. This individual will work alongside a variety of human resources functions such as talent acquisition, total rewards, HR benefits and operations, learning & professional development, and other projects as assigned. This role requires a high degree of confidentiality and the ability to build credible relationships with business leaders allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness. This person will be apart of a web of support including our HR Business Partners, HR Generalist and HR Coordinator. This role will report to the Director, People Experience.This position can be based in Kansas City, MO and/or Saint Louis, MO. This is a hybrid role.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting the execution of talent management strategies targeted to care for CRB’s employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle (attract, engage, develop, and retain) Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters and assisting in the development of performance improvement plansParticipate in the development and administration of Corporate HR policies, procedures, and standards; and effectively communicate and execute necessary changesGenerate HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and compliance requirementsConduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify opportunities to improve retention and engagementPerform employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of termination requests in conjunction with HRBPsConduct or facilitate workforce training as requestedOn an as needed basis, participate on various HR committees established to resolve employment challengesMaintain compliance with Corporate HR policies, local policies and federal and state employment regulationsProvide support for assigned human resources activitiesPrepare internal employee communications for a variety of HR initiativesAdditional responsibilities as assigned
