In this role, you will do a rotation within the team, working on a variety of assigned field-based plant breeding and data science projects.  Additionally, there will be time to explore the candidate’s unique skill set and career development interests.As an intern at Syngenta, you will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, and work on real projects finding real solutions. Location: Stanton, MNYou will: Support plant breeding & data scientists in both field related activities and analytical activities required for maintaining an active corn breeding programPerform activities related to planting, note taking throughout plant life cycle, phenotyping, safety, and trainingAssist with managing and developing part-time workersAnalyze data and prepare a report and presentation for your assigned projects focusing on applying innovative methodology and technology improvements to the northern corn breeding programGather and analyze requirements and develop appropriate data structuresTransform and structure large datasets for genotypic and phenotypic statistical analysisA variety of additional data management skills may be learned and deployedThe intern will operate in accordance with Syngenta Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) standards
