CNC Machinist Trainee

Dependable Solutions Engineering is seeking a Mechanical individual for training on CNC machines. This position will be responsible for programming, setup and operating Haas CNC mill.

Location: Finlayson, MN

Hours: Monday thru Thursday ( 4x10 hour days with overtime available)

I will work with "Candidate" to set a schedule.

Responsibilities:

Ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain machines and tools.

training of knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments.

training on reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions

. Works from CAD drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to interpret, plan, and layout own work

. Interpret existing CNC programs and edit if necessary, to set up and operate CNC

Ability to hold tight tolerances

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and timely delivery of products

Maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Some training in machine shop

Proficient math skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Some knowledge of measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge
