Position: Seasonal Tax Preparer

Type: Permanent Seasonal Position (Every Tax Season)

Location: Livonia, MI

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team during tax season. This is a recurring seasonal role—perfect for someone who enjoys working intensively during the busy season each year and wants to return annually.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and related schedules)

Assist with small business income tax returns as needed

Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

Communicate with clients to gather required information and answer basic tax- related questions

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications:

Previous experience preparing income tax returns required

Familiar with Ultra Tax software a plus (not required)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak season
