Personal Assistant for Furniture Design Studio

2 Days/Week · $20/hr · Paid Weekly in Cash

I’m a furniture designer in Somerville looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on assistant to help with studio tasks. This is a physical, detail-focused role for someone proactive, tidy, and comfortable in a workshop environment.

Schedule & Pay

2 days per week

8 hours total weekly

Monday 10-2pm

Thursday 2-6pm

$20/hour, paid in cash weekly

What You’ll Do

Vacuum and keep the studio clean

Help with gluing and light furniture assembly

Light drilling (training provided)

Reorganize tools and materials

Lift and carry items up to 30lbs

Shadow me and help keep projects on track

Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Must provide valid ID

Speaks English and communicates clearly

Reliable, punctual, and organized

Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
