Part-time Retail Associate

Valley Fabrics is a large, vibrant fabric store with thousands of yards of fabric, notions, and creative supplies. We pride ourselves on offering inspiration, expert guidance, and a welcoming space for quilters, sewists, crafters, and makers of all levels.

We’re looking for enthusiastic part-time Retail Associates who love fabric, enjoy helping others, and thrive in a busy, creative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Welcome & Assist Customers: Help shoppers find the right fabrics, notions, and patterns.

Cut Fabric Accurately + Efficiently: Work at the cutting table with care and precision.

Operate the Register + Point of Sale System: Handle sales, returns, and questions with a smile.

Stock & Merchandising: Keep inventory organized, displays fresh, and shelves tidy.

Share Knowledge: Offer guidance on fabric types, sewing basics, and project ideas (training provided).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Friendly, customer-focused, and dependable.

Experience in sewing, quilting, textiles, and/or crafts.

Comfortable doing simple math and handling fabric measurements.

Able to lift fabric bolts and be on your feet all day.

A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
