Entry-Level Civil Engineer – Remediation - Networking Event with AECOM – Boston, MA

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to be based in our Boston, MA office. This position will support our remediation team within our Environment business line.This position is expected to begin June 2026, but that date is flexible.Job Overview:The Entry-Level Civil Engineer will serve as a team member in the office and the field, assisting project and program management with design and implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water investigation and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation.Our teams work on complex remediation projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. Together, these opportunities will aid in your growth in this industry.The job responsibilities of this position may include but are not limited to:Preparation of calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineerUse of computer software (e.g. CAD, GIS, data analysis tools) as a tool for solving basic engineering problemsBuilding analytic and engineering design skills under the supervision of an experienced engineerDevelopment of technical memoranda and reportsEnvironmental sampling (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, stormwater, wastewater, air, and hazardous waste) Site visits at industrial, federal, commercial, and municipal client facilitiesData collection and analysis for environmental compliance and sustainabilityPerforming work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervisionLocal travel is likely and U.S travel possible and project dependentField work in locations as appropriate
