This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented Entry-Level Building Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Engineers to support water, wastewater treatment, flood protection, and associated projects in our Chelmsford, MA office.  This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful national group under the direct responsible charge and supervision of Registered Professional Engineers that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities.  Join our team while we continue to deliver innovative and successful projects and help the communities in which we live and work.  This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks associated with the technical design and layout of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.  Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. Exercise engineering judgment for the development of preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives in the design of building HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Prepare engineering-related calculations, specifications, and develop drawings and visual aids. Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within the Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit. Work under the mentorship and supervision of a senior engineer. Willingness and ability to occasionally travel to sites throughout North America.
