New England Driving School is looking for friendly courteous people with patience to teach road and/or classroom lessons. We are an established driving school with FULL and PART TIME positions available for driving instructors (our school services Weymouth, Braintree, Hingham, Hanover, Rockland and Abington). Candidates must be certified or willing to become certified by completing the required course and applying for the certification test through the RMV. Potential instructors must have a clean driving record, be punctual, patient, and able to operate under unfamiliar circumstances. Pay will be based on work experience (ex. driving or teaching related previous employment etc); 0-1 year $21/hr, and 1+ years experience starts at $22.

Paid Training- The professional driving instructors course is offered at New England Driving School for a fee of $1500 to individuals looking to acquire a certification to work elsewhere. We are willing to pay for the course, initial RMV application fees, as well as compensate for the training at a rate of $18 per hour for the candidate willing to join New England Driving School’s team!

Competitive Pay- Once an employee becomes a Certified instructor, the pay rate will increase to $21/hour. Candidates with professional driving instructor experience, or closely related instructing experience will be considered at a higher rate. Prospective full time candidates will be considered at a higher rate as well.

Sign on bonus! Certified driving instructors will be eligible for a sign on bonus after successful employment for 90 days (1st installment) and 180 days (2nd installment); for part time (20+ hours per week), for full time (40 hours per week)

Available less than 20 hours? You can still apply but are not eligible for the sign on bonus.

Requirements;

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 25+ years old

- experienced driver, with valid MA driver's license

- Clean driving record

- No criminal record

- Must be able and willing to acquire Professional Driving Instructor Certification

- Must be punctual/reliable
