This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM’s Environment Business Line is seeking a talented Engineering Intern to support our Remediation team based in our Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Virginia office. This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable firsthand experience in engineering design, and remediation projects that make a real-world impact. Interns work with innovative technology, learn the industry’s best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a globally recognized firm. The program fosters both technical and professional skill development while providing networking opportunities that can enhance future career prospects.Additionally, AECOM’s dedication to innovation and sustainability enables interns to contribute to meaningful projects that help shape communities and the built environment.Internships are designed to introduce and build essential firsthand skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Supporting the Environment team by preparing design drawings, work plans, technical reports, and details for various remediation projects.Assisting experienced Environment staff with collecting field data and samples.Completing other assigned tasks that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the Environmental Engineering field of study.
