We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Garage Door Technician to join our team as an independent contractor - please do not apply if you do not have prior garage door experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who has hands-on experience with commercial and/or residential garage doors and operators and is looking for flexible work on a job-by-job basis.

Job Scope:

Installation and servicing of residential and commercial garage doors

Installation and maintenance of garage door openers

Installation of metal wrap

Servicing of gate operators

Delivery of garage doors to customers (optional/additional opportunity)

REQUIREMENTS + MUST HAVE:

Prior experience with residential and/or commercial garage door installation or repair

Must be able to pass a background check (can take up to 2 weeks before starting)

Reliable truck or vehicle capable of hauling garage doors and materials

Proficient with power tools - we can provide tools if needed

Ability to work independently and solve on-site issues

For delivery opportunities:

Must be able to safely transport garage doors

Must be able to load and unload alone

Compensation & Terms:

- Pay is per job and will be discussed during the interview

- This is a 1099 independent contractor role - no benefits

- Must complete a W-9 form before starting

- Background check must return clear before any work begins
