Plumber - Commercial Journeyman - Per Diem Offered $100/day

Job Title: Commercial Plumber - Journeyman

Location: Various locations in Iowa

Pay: $25–$35/hour (Based on Experience)

Per Diem: Offered if you live over 72 miles from the site and can provide proof $100.00/day

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duration: Contract – Several months, with potential for extension to long term work

Position Overview:

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers for immediate contract opportunities in various locations in Iowa. This position involves interpreting blueprints, installing commercial plumbing systems, and ensuring all work meets code requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial construction

Install mechanical piping, equipment, and systems associated with commercial construction

Work with piping materials such as PVC, copper, PEX, ProPress, threaded, and grooved pipe

Interpret construction drawings, submittals, and specifications

Layout and plan daily plumbing tasks efficiently and safely

Ensure all systems are installed per the Uniform Plumbing Code and project specifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial plumbing

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Journeyman or Master-level license is a plus

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety protocols

Additional Requirements:

Must pass a drug test and background check

Must have a complete set of basic plumbing tools

Proper use of PPE is required: Hard Hat, Vest, Safety Glasses, Gloves

Reliable transportation to and from job site
