In-Home Elder Care - Daytime Hours

Elderly couple needs in-home assistance from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The husband has Parkinson's and requires assistance getting up and down from his chair and going to the bathroom. There is definitely a heavy lifting component to the job, since sometimes he cannot stand up by himself. The couple also needs help with lunch - usually just preparing a light meal from what's available in the refrigerator. The wife is on a very low salt diet. Cleanliness of bathroom and kitchen areas must be maintained. Help with laundry and light cleaning will be a secondary part of the job as time permits.

We are not an employer. You would be your own independent self getting paid directly by the elderly couple. Since this position will be in the home, applicants will need to present a valid drivers license so that we can do a proper background check. Relevant experience and references are required.
