Technical Writer

Role Description:

This is a project-based hybrid role for a Technical Writer at QLytix Inc. in Boise, ID. The Technical Writer will be responsible for technical communication, documentation, step-by-step guides for video creation, and on-camera demonstrations.

Qualifications:

Technical Communication, Technical Writing, and Documentation skills

Experience in Technical Documentation and creating manuals

Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex information clearly

Knowledge of software documentation tools and technologies

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Experience with printer technology or the computer hardware industry is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice to Have:

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)

Prior work with repair documentation for consumer electronics

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field

Other Details:

No relocation is offered. This job is a hybrid with a majority of work done in the office. Must be willing to work outside of regular business hours occasionally. Pay is hourly, and assignments are project-based. No benefits are offered. No CtoC offers will be considered. Applicants must be located in the Boise Metropolitan Area.
