GGB Cremation Services is looking for a long-term employee. Job Overview
Responsible for various activities ranging from operation of the cremation and processing equipment, packaging memorial items, processing and packaging cremated remains. This position works closely with the veterinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Preform a variety of daily duties: operating the cremator, creating memorial items, processing and packaging cremated remains, while ensuring quality control.
Assist with driving duties including pick-up/deliveries to and from family homes, pick up from an euthanasia appointment, vet hospitals and clinics using a company vehicle.
Perform basic computer knowledge: filling out timecards, scheduling appointments into program, and mapping out routes.
Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Clean and maintain equipment used in cremation procedures.
Follow safety procedures to protect themselves and others from exposure to hazardous materials or dust particles.
Effectively communicate daily operations and updates to veterinary and phone staff and proactively obtain accurate information to address client inquiries.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Training & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 12 months’ experience in the service industry
Valid Driver’s License
