Roofer / Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and general construction, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves performing various tasks related to roofing installation, repair, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.

Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete roofing tasks efficiently.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.

Assist in construction site preparation, including concrete forming and framing tasks.

Perform heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment.

Engage in restoration projects, including caulking, stucco application, and trim carpentry.

Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects and other construction-related tasks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on the job site.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing, construction site work, or related fields.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to roofing and general construction tasks.

Familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading is preferred.

Experience in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, metal stud framing, concrete forming, fabrication, and maintenance person services is a plus.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
