Pipe Crew

Pipe Crew Members needed for local sitework contractor with jobsites located in and around Marion, Citrus, and Sumter counties.

Responsible for manipulating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. Will lay utility pipe, set structures, finish inlets, & manholes. Will excavate and backfill to desired compaction.

Operates cut saws, tamps, pumps, & other hand tools as needed.

Ability to efficiently locate and dig around existing underground utilities. Work safely in trenches and on excavation sites. Work takes place in diverse locations.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field is needed. Must be 18 or older and have transportation to the job site. Valid FL Driver’s License is preferred to operate a company vehicle when needed.

Duties:

Must have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and/or written instructions. Ability to read and understand job site plans and grade stakes is a plus.

Will observe and comply with safety rules. Must be able to work independently as well as part of the team. Following your work schedule and complying with the attendance policy is essential.

Must be able to work in the elements. Work schedule is affected by weather.
