HVAC/R Service Supervisor
AIR2 Homes is a residential and lite commercial AC company based in Orlando, Florida. The company's new owners and managers are building our team to serve custom and luxury homeowners and managers, and regional residential accounts, by offering competitive pay, benefits, training and support.
AIR2 Homes is looking for an experienced technician and supervisor to guide our service team in daily activities, ensure accurate and timely information for customers and teammates, and coordinate various service and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the daily activities of the department under the direction of the technical and operational directors
- Display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered
- Coordinate work order schedules and priorities with service technicians
- Work in the field independently and with other technicians
- Ensure technicians follow our standard procedures and policies
- Monitor department issues and client complaints to drive constant improvement
- Follow up with customers regarding maintenance satisfaction as well as auditing work being done to ensure all standards are being met and maintenance work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly
- Promote exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally
- Assist with or perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- 5 or more years of HVAC/R plus some supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Passage of a background check and submission to a Drug-free Workplace program
- Typical tools and equipment for completing work in the field
- Good decision making, analytical problem solving and organizational abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English (bilingual is a plus) and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong customer-relation skills as well as strong phone skills and the ability to project a pleasant tone
- Team-building orientation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A desire to continually increase your knowledge of the industries we serve, and products, services and processes our company can produce
