Estimator for Demolition

Demolition contractor looking for an experienced Estimator

As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for reviewing plans and specs, conducting site visits, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with clients, engineers, and our internal team to win work and ensure project success. You’ll play a key role in our pre-construction process and help guide projects from concept to contract.

Key Responsibilities

Review bid invitations, blueprints, and specs to define project scope

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates (labor, equipment, disposal, etc.)

Conduct job site visits to assess existing conditions and logistical challenges

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing

Prepare and submit proposals and bid documents

Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth project transitions

Track bid results and maintain estimating records

Requirements

8+ years of experience in estimating (demolition, construction, or civil). Will not train

Solid understanding of demolition methods, materials, and equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs

Strong math and analytical skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license (site visits required)

Must pass drug test

Will assist in relocation

No per diem
