SST is seeking a Semi-Skilled Laborer with construction experience for a remodel project in Lake Wales, FL Florida!

PAY:$19.00- $22.00

HOURS: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (overnights)

DURATION: 6+ months

START: ASAP

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and driven Semi-Skilled Laborer to assist with removing VCT flooring, disposing of materials, and maintaining a clean jobsite. The ideal candidate will have basic construction skills, experience with a chipper and hand tools, and the ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Using a chipper to remove VCT flooring

Material handling

carpenter helper

Assisting with case changes

Performing concrete demolition and removal

Operating a jackhammer and other demo tools

Keeping the job site clean and organized

Perform cleanup duties and assist with unloading materials

Follow directions and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

Basic construction laborer skills are preferred.

Experience with hand tools is required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions.

A team player who works well with others.

Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.

Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Working Conditions:

Must be able to operate a chipper machine

Ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
