AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Mid/Senior Software Developer based out of our Raleigh, NC office, with the option to be remote. The successful candidate will utilize their design and development skills to deliver both cloud and desktop applications that are high quality, on time and within budget. The developer will participate in the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment of new software applications and will maintain and improve legacy software. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient algorithms that will leverage spatial and non-spatial data querying and processing. The candidate will work closely with technical and business staff to develop solutions. The ability of the candidate to learn topics in water resources engineering and flood mitigation will be needed. Due to the varying nature of our projects, our technology staff grow their skills rapidly since each solution requires new approaches and technology components.
