They will be doing testing / Interviewing on this position

Must be available to do overtime and open to working on the weekends

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring that products are handled safely and effectively.

Duties

Operate forklifts, including pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment to move materials around the warehouse.

Load and unload goods from trucks and containers while adhering to safety protocols.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.

Perform regular inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Assist in building pallets for shipping and receiving while ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.

Use RF scanners for inventory management tasks, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking.

Experience

Previous experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.

Knowledge of safety standards, including OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Experience working under the guidance of a warehouse supervisor is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
