We are growing and looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and project lifecycle management.
Position Summary:
The Commercial Roofing Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading projects from initial assessment through completion. This includes evaluating roofing systems, preparing maintenance budgets and re-roofing estimates, managing timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction. The PM will also play a critical role in generating sales, managing subcontractors, coordinating with vendors, and tracking inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
-Define project scope and create accurate estimates based on material takeoffs
-Recommend preventative maintenance strategies to building owners and property managers
-Prospect and engage potential clients; generate and close sales of re-roofing and maintenance contracts
-Prepare and present detailed roof management reports for new and existing clients
-Negotiate and manage contracts with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
-Hire and supervise subcontractors as needed
-Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines and budgets
-Maintain clear communication with clients, field staff, and internal teams
-Ensure compliance with local codes, permits, safety standards, and regulations
-Create and manage sales and project documentation in CRM platforms (training provided if needed)
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial roofing industry
-In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, BUR, etc.)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
-Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
-Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM software experience preferred
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-A project portfolio is a plus but not required
