PERFECT JOB IF YOU LOVE EXERCISING WITH DOGS OUTDOORS AND DON'T WANT TO BE BEHIND A DESK Off Road Paws is a dog fitness and pet sitting business and we are looking for an energetic, responsible, professional animal lover to come work with us. Our mission is to help owners keep their pets happy and healthy with a focus on providing dogs of all ages, medical conditions and sizes the individualized exercise and special care they need. We are currently offering running, hiking and walking services for dogs and we need team members to help with all our clients and their dogs and cats!
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Part-time hours: Position would be for two to three weekdays and Sundays for dog walking, dog jogging, dog hiking and dog/cat pet sitting. Must be able to walk, hike and jog with dogs several miles a day. Need availability all day and evenings (7am to 8pm range with most hours in the 7am-3pm and 6pm-8pm range). Hours will vary per week, but will be approximately 8-10 hours per week. At least one year commitment and hopefully more ideal.
Services are offered in Louisville, Lafayette and borders of neighboring towns. MUST LIVE IN LOUISVILLE, LAFAYETTE, SOUTH BOULDER, SUPERIOR OR WESTERN BROOMFIELD (near 287 and north of Flatiron Mall area). NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED OUTSIDE OF THIS AREA DUE TO EXCESSIVE DRIVING TIME FOR EMPLOYEE.
Professional experience working with animals of all sizes and personalities preferable. 4WD or AWD car that can hold at least 2 dogs separately and is capable of driving safely in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills with clients and ability to work with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages and personalities. We expect complete professionalism and compassion for animals and clients from our employees.
Compensation:
$19-26/hour depending on services
Gas compensation based on monthly hours
Annual raises based on performance.
Opportunity for bonuses and management based on performance
W-2 employees not independent contractors
CPR class and certification- class paid for by employer
