Maintenance Technician - Springhill Suites & Element COS

PM shift 2:30 pm to 11:00 PM

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Maintenance Technician for the Springhill Suites & Element in Colorado Springs, CO.

Your expertise shapes us:

The Maintenance person will be responsible for all aspects of the engineering department, including the proper operation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop, coordinate, and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security, and comfort to all team members and guests.

Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of all assets in order to determine the type of work required.

Manages an effective rooms preventative maintenance program.

Manages department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

Training and managing all engineering associates.

Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues.

You Are:

An experienced Engineer - Maintenance

Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt brand standards.

HVAC, CPO certified, and CPR Certification.

Able to maintain accurate logs and records.

Trained in refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical.

Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Display initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills.

Able to deliver exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.

Team player, professional, and lead with integrity

Ability to read, write, and speak English, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
