Vintage Auto shop looking for experienced mechanic

Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, an auto shop specializing in classic cars and hot rods in Escondido CA is in need of an experienced mechanic. Minimum 5 years experience required in at least 50% of these skills for the following duties:

Wiring, engine, transmission, rear end assembly, disassembly and overhaul.

Brake system repair

Routine maintenance

Test and tune

Interior, exterior disassembly / assembly as needed

Cosmetically restore / paint engine parts, engine bay, chassis, misc.

Experience wiring vehicles / troubleshoot wiring and electrical problems

Proficient in diagnosing drivability concerns

Familiar with wheel alignments and suspension

Familiar with retrofitting modern R134A AC systems into older vehicles

Good driving record

4x 10hr day schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-5pm
