Transit-Rail Senior Project Manager in SoCal

AECOM is seeking an experienced Transit-Rail Senior Project Manager to join our Los Angeles Office.JOB SUMMARY:Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of transportation infrastructure programs, including alternative delivery projects (DB, PDB or CMGC). This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure projects for our clients. The applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. The objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop, and execute major projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules, thereby expanding AECOM’s reputation as the preferred transportation consultant in the industry.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead development and execution of significant transit-rail projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, aerial or underground project pursuits, and delivery.Establish relationships with LA Metro, and other local agencies in the City of LA.Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transit-rail project teams.Proven track record with large client account management, mega-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development.A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients.
