Overview:Individual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiency.Here's what you'll do:Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to safely complete work assignmentsKnowledge of safe and responsible operation, maintenance, and organization required for tools and equipment used in mechanical and electrical work to protect self and others in the workplaceResponsible for the proper setup and safe operation of the equipmentPerform all necessary start-up/shutdown procedures, cleaning, troubleshooting, and calibration on a regular basis to assure accuracy of equipment operationPerform and log uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventative maintenance workCreate Work Order requests using Oracle for needed equipment repairsExecute our company and mission goals but not losing sight of employee and food safetyTroubleshoot, maintain, and perform corrective work on all packaging equipment within the departmentCoach and mentor Machine Attendants and OperatorsWork closely with reliability team to identify machine’s issues or root causes and propose solutionsEngagement in identifying safety and food safety hazards (for example, GMP audits, weekly Critical Behavior Observations, sanitation checks, etc.)Hand off to the next shift, a work area that you yourself would expect from the other shiftAssist in the continuous improvement efforts at the facilities in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost and ProductivityOperate packaging machine and or act as a breaker when requiredAbility to work in various temperatures (e.g., warm, hot, cold, freezing)Creating / validating equipment programs for all pack SKUsAbility to listen and follow oral directions to carry out assigned tasks according to directions by managementPerform other assigned duties that meet business needsMust be able to work the offseason as business requiresFollow the Wonderful Citrus safety policyFirst Responder to all equipment downtime. Track DIN Call informationCapable of acquiring basic knowledge of all packaging equipment
