Social Media Volunteer – Help Protect the Mojave Desert & San Gabriel

Are you passionate about environmental conservation and social media? Save Our Mojave is a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting the ecology and natural beauty of the Mojave Desert and San Gabriel Mountains. We’re seeking a motivated volunteer to help us create engaging social media content and expand our outreach.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Prepare and schedule regular posts (1-3 per week) on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter

Share educational facts, news, and photos about Mojave Desert and San Gabriel Mountains ecology

Help promote upcoming events, cleanups, and campaigns

Monitor messages and engage with our community

Ideally commit 2-3 hours per week (remote, flexible schedule)

Ideal Candidate:

Interested in ecology, conservation, or the environment

Strong writing or social media skills (students welcome)

Reliable, creative, and positive attitude

Experience with Canva or similar tools a plus, but not required
