We are seeking a proficient repairman who can handle light property maintenance, operate ranch equipment, and work safely around horses—horse experience is our #1 priority. This is a part-time role requiring 2–3 hours per day, 3 days per week, with a preference for weekend availability.
This position is also suitable for responsible high school students who can turn out horses in the mornings and return later to complete other tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate ranch equipment (tractors, mowers, and similar machinery).
Perform general repairs and property upkeep (fencing, barn checks, small equipment fixes).
Safely handle and work around horses, ensuring their environment remains secure.
Turn out horses in the mornings and return later for remaining tasks.
Assist with occasional ranch projects as needed.
Requirements:
Proven handyman or repair skills (for adult applicants) or willingness to learn under supervision (for high school applicants).
Significant horse handling and care experience (feeding, leading, basic first aid, safe practices).
Comfortable operating ranch equipment or eager to be trained (if younger).
Dependable, self-motivated, and physically capable of outdoor labor.
Weekend availability strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (or reliable transportation for high school students).
Compensation & Schedule:
Part-time: 2–3 hours/day, 3 days/week (flexible schedule; weekend work preferred).
Competitive hourly wage, based on experience and skills.
