This is a senior individual contributor role for a designer who excels in strategic problem solving, product design execution, and cross-functional influence. You’ll take ownership of high-priority initiatives, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create intuitive, scalable user experiences that align with both client needs and business goals. You’ll serve as a thought partner to the CPO and senior product leadership, helping shape how design influences product strategyYou’ll be instrumental in shaping how AI shows up in our product, and how it enhances our internal design and development practices. Your work will influence the client journey across all touchpoints, with a particular focus on systems thinking, user trust, and simplicity in complex workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design of end-to-end product experiences across our payments platform, with a focus on high-leverage, high-complexity areas.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand client needs, business context, and technical constraints.Develop and refine user flows, wireframes, working wireframes, and high-fidelity designs, using modern tools and rapidly iterating with stakeholders.Leverage AI and generative tools to explore interaction models and increase design velocity, bringing creative thinking to how AI is embedded in our product.Conduct lightweight research and validation, either independently or in partnership with product teams, to ground your decisions in user evidence.Define, contribute to, and evolve our design system and standards, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across surfaces while championing best practices in UX, accessibility, and usability.Present design strategy and execution clearly to executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners, driving alignment and action.Working with ProductOps, define and evolve the design intake and collaboration processes that ensure timely, high-quality design involvement across the product development lifecycle.Act as a mentor and coach to other designers and cross-functional peers, modeling high-quality thinking, craft, and collaboration
