Pay Rate: $18.20 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:New Poultry Inspection System (NPIS) certification preferred or ability to successfully pass NPIS testMust be able to visually examine chicken and remove birds from the line not meeting the quality criteriaMust have demonstrated knowledge of chicken defects/diseases and attention to detail to maintain and improve bird qualityMust have knowledge of food safety guidelines to ensure compliance with Company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirementsReport regularly and on time to work as well as work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduledMust be able to lift, reach, handle, perform cervical flexion/extension, rotate, stand, walk, balance and stoopSort livers and gizzardsAble to trim carcasses with a knife
