Gardener – Elk Grove, CA (Farm & Plant Care)

Description:

We are looking for a reliable gardener to provide consistent care and attention to the plants

at our property in Elk Grove, CA. This includes both our existing landscaping and the

development of a small educational farm project. The role focuses on plant health, growth,

and upkeep — ensuring everything thrives on a daily and seasonal basis.

Responsibilities:

Watering, pruning, weeding, and overall plant care.

Monitoring soil, irrigation, and plant health.

Identifying and addressing pests, diseases, or growth issues.

Assisting with planting, transplanting, and seasonal rotations.

Keeping garden and farm areas organized and presentable.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven gardening or farming experience (green thumb a must).

Knowledge of local plants, vegetables, fruits, and herbs.

Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working outdoors and physically active.

Must be able to do heavy lifting (rocks, dirt, and farm supplies).

Bonus: experience with small-scale farm or urban agriculture.

Compensation & Schedule:

Great compensation based on experience and scope of project.

10-20 hours per week
