Camina Bakery is on the hunt for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Bread Baker and Croissant Shaper. This position is multifaceted and has a focus on baking bread in our commercial scale deck oven—88 loaves at a time!

About Us:

At Camina Bakery, we pride ourselves on creating delicious bread and pastries that bring joy to our community. Our team is a close-knit group that values collaboration and a positive attitude. If you’re someone who enjoys both working independently and contributing to a team, you’ll fit right in. We are a small company, but we operate a production-scale business, producing approximately 2,500 pieces of bread and 1,500 pastries per week.

Schedule (approx. 30-35hrs/wk., end times are approx.):

Mon: 2:00pm to 10:30pm [prep duties, croissant shaping, bread baking]

Tues: 6pm to 12am [bread baking]

Weds: 3:30 pm to 10:30pm [prep duties, croissant shaping, bread baking]

Thurs: 7:30pm to 12:30am [bread baking]

Fri: 5:30pm to 1:30am [bread baking]

Note, the above schedule is for training purposes for a trial period of 90 days. The ultimate schedule is subject to changing to 4 days per week instead of 5.

Desired Qualities:

Reliable transportation.

Experienced with and passionate about bread baking.

Enjoys physical work.

Okay with working in a hot environment (in front of a large oven!)

A team player but also enjoys working alone.

Communication skills, receptive to feedback.

Skilled in multitasking

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to routinely lift 50lbs

Must be able to routinely and repeatedly lift 20lbs overhead

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

Must be able to work in a warm environment
