Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily operations, and ensuring smooth financial management within our firm.

Key Responsibilities

Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable

Manage general ledger entries and ensure accurate classification of expenses and income

Process and track vendor invoices, reimbursements, and credit card expenses

Reconcile bank and investment accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports

Support payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of related tax filings (if applicable)

Maintain organized financial records to support compliance and audits

Monitor cash flow and budget usage alongside firm leadership

Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve billing or payment issues

Qualifications

Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience; financial services industry experience strongly preferred

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office 365

Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Strong organizational and communication skills

Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time (approximately three days per week in the office)

Pay based on experience and skill level
