Marimba One is the world’s premier manufacturer and distributor of concert marimbas and vibraphones.

We are looking for an experienced individual to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of this fast-paced, supportive, and dynamic company.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, work diligently under pressure, and develop new and effective ways to achieve better results. A desire to provide the best customer service possible is a must.

Responsibilities

Organize office and assist colleagues in ways that optimize procedures.

Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.

Maintain trusting relationships with colleagues and customers, including dealers, educational institutions, and professional musicians.

Perform receptionist duties professionally in a warm and friendly manner.

Research Domestic and International freight quotes; and ship small and large items.

Requirements

Perform data entry, meeting the deadlines required with excellent accuracy.

Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving – a curious mind.

Proven experience in a business environment.

A desire to work directly with people and provide excellent customer service.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity in Word and Adobe Acrobat a plus.

Experience with ERP software systems is preferred.

Musical background is a PLUS but not required.
