Day Porter (Weekend Shift)

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Account Manager

Location: Dealership in North Scottsdale

If you know how to use floor care machines (auto scrubbers) is a plus!

Position Overview

The Day Porter plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during regular operating hours. This individual provides on-site janitorial support for day-to-day needs, addressing cleaning tasks promptly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services at a professional facility.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Professional demeanor and communication skills suitable for interacting with tenants, employees, and visitors.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to meet high client expectations.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Scope of Work (SOW) – General Cleaning Duties

Daily Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas throughout the shift.

Perform continuous spot cleaning and restocking of supplies as required.

Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in all common and high-traffic areas.

Detailed Tasks Include:

Lobby & Common Areas

Wipe and disinfect doors, handles, glass, and touchpoints.

Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors as needed.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles; replace liners.

Maintain entrance mats and glass doors in spotless condition.

Restrooms

Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, and fixtures.

Restock soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other supplies.

Mop floors with disinfectant and ensure odor control.

Spot clean walls, partitions, and mirrors.

Breakrooms / Kitchenettes

Wipe tables, counters, and appliances.

Clean sinks, polish fixtures, and remove trash.

Ensure dispensers and supplies are restocked.

Offices / Work Areas

Empty trash cans, wipe desks (if cleared), and dust surfaces.

Spot clean walls, glass, and doors as needed.

Vacuum or sweep as required.

High-Touch & Public Areas

Disinfect frequently touched surfaces (elevator buttons, railings, handles, etc.).

Maintain a tidy, presentable appearance of all common spaces.

Exterior Entry & Trash Areas

Keep entryways clear of litter and debris.

Wipe exterior glass doors.

Manage trash collection points and transport to dumpsters as needed.

Additional Duties

Respond to on-demand service requests (e.g., spills, accidents, or special cleaning needs).

Notify management of any maintenance or safety concerns.

Support event setup/cleanup or special projects as assigned.

Follow company safety protocols and wear PPE when required.
