Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelors of Science in Nursing program.We are presently accepting applications for candidates who have interest in teaching in the following specialties:Fundamental Nursing Skills- Content focuses on health promotion and the rehabilitative aspects of patient care. Students provide direct patient care in the acquisition of skills and concepts of professional nursing. The nursing process is utilized as the student implements basic aspects of nursing practice. We have locations throughout the Valley—East, West, North, and Central—with several options available in each area. All clinical shifts are 12 hours in length. The pay rate is $60 per hour for both simulation and clinical assignments.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sitesIf you are passionate about nursing and advancing your career through the power of education, we invite you to apply today.In this role, the clinical instructor:Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and professionAssumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignmentsPlans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individualsEvaluates and provides documented feedback to student on level of performance based on course objectivesIs available for remediation of students as required or neededOrients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnelDevelops and posts written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needsGrades homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork and other written work in a timely mannerMay teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinatorKeeps course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concernsReports to the dean or assistant dean: a course coordinator will also provide direct oversight
