Deburr/Shipping & Delivery Associate

Argus Machine has a need for a self-motivated individual that has a keen eye and attention to detail in its precision machine deburr department. In addition, will assist the Logistics department to label and package parts for product protection, according to customer requirements, maintain job documentation to assure accurate recording and inventory control, and transport products to vendors or customers.

Job Requirements:

- Ensure job counts are correct from production and properly identified

- Follow job traveler instructions, use prints and visual aids to validate information

- Use hand tools including knife, file, tweezers, or other deburr tools to remove sharp edges of manufactured parts

- Inspect manufactured parts to assure they are free of burrs

- Use sanding pads/paper to cosmetically improve required surfaces

- Use sandblaster as required to remove tooling marks

- Wash all parts to be free of oils and dust

- Sweep work area and keep clean

- Document legible and accurate deburr times on time cards & travelers

- Using company vehicle, deliver parts to customers, Pick up parts from vendors.

- Package expensive machined components with care.

- Label components accurately, matching parts to shop prints.

- Individually bag and tag components - this portion of the job is highly repetitive

- Maintain accurate part counts.

- This job requires high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Individuals with OCD a plus.

- Communicate with peers, customers, and vendors respectfully.

- References must be available and will be checked.

- Must have a valid Arizona Driver's license and a good driving record to be approved by Argus' auto insurance company.
