AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Controls III to be based in the following location: DOUGLAS, AZ.AECOM is seeking a highly qualified resilient Construction Project Controls to provide embedded on-site PM/CM support for a Federal LPOE (Land Port of Entry) modernization construction project.  Project is located at the Raul Hector Castro LPOE in Douglas Arizona, and the position is fulltime embedded at the project site.  This opening is a multi-year full-time embedded on-site field construction support role serving as Construction Project Manager / Owner’s Representative.Position SummaryResponsible for managing a singular high profile complex multi-year project embedded at the project site to achieve specified objectives.Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost.This position will support the work of the AECOM Project Manager and Inspector / Quality AssuranceDeveloping and controlling budgets and funding strategies Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.Managing interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly.Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirementsPosition RequirementsThis position requires someone who can confidently provide the controls and administrative support for an integrated collaborative team on a high profile complex multi-year project at the project site to achieve specified objectives. Actively support the other AECOM embedded site staff and specialty site inspectors, and reach-back resources who will provide oversight and technical quality review of progress to support the delivery of a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. The Construction Project Controller shall have previous experience on projects of similar size and complexity as well as satisfy the requirements listed below.
