LOOKING FOR HIGH END CUSTOM CABINET DRAFTSMAN. 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE USING CABINET VISION SOFTWARE

Core Responsibilities

Technical Drawing: Converting conceptual sketches from designers or architects into detailed 2D shop drawings and 3D models.

Specification Details: Documenting exact dimensions, material types (wood species, veneers), hardware (hinges, pulls), and finish requirements.

Manufacturing Preparation: Generating "cut lists" (lists of every individual piece of wood needed) and sometimes programming files directly for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.

Site Coordination: Taking or verifying field measurements to ensure the finished cabinets will fit perfectly into the physical space, accounting for plumbing, electrical outlets, and wall variances.

NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERED

Certifications: Professional credentials from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) or software-specific certifications from Autodesk can increase hiring potential.
